As well known, E3 leased line costs much higher than an E1 leased line. A Customer requiring more bandwidth than a E1, but less bandwidth than a E3 can utilize Inverse Multiplexing to achieve speeds in E1 multiples (NxE1) and avoid the high cost of a E3 connection.

The OptiQmax 4200 utilizes the Inverse Multiplxing technology to offer up to 4 E1 links (8M bps bandwidth) to be connected to the existed PDH or SDH netwoks. The customer benefits from renting a E1 in the begginnig, afterwards renting more E1s as the bandwidth demand grows. The OptiQmax 4200 is well designed to provide plug and play characteristics. Bridge the gap between multiple E1s and E3:

The OptiQmax 4200 inverse multiplexer splits the high speed data from the router into up to 4 E1 links to be connected to the E1 leased line, offering guaranteed 8 Mbps bandwidth connection. The enterprise benefits to gain higher bandwith than 1 E1 line rather than leasing high cost E3 line. In addition, the traffic is optimized delivered over multiple E1 links, and the transmission is not disruppted if an individual link fails.
