The OptiQmax 4388 MFOM (Multipurpose Fiber Optical Multiplexer) is a point-to-point FOM with the highest 850 Mbps bandwidth and superior performance in the market by using advanced TDM over IP technology.

With high integrating system design, the OptiQmax 4388 MFOM multiplexes T1/E1 and Combo-GbE (electrical or optical) signal over single-mode fiber optic, and de-multiplexes the original signal at the other end. There are 4 interface slots for plugging-in interface modules. The system can accommodate up to 4/8/12/16 E1/T1 ports or 2/4/6/8 Ethernet ports.

In order to detect earlier the line degradation with minor error, the MFOM performs real time line quality inspection to individual traffic link via performance monitoring (PM) statistics accordingly. The PM information includes at least ES, SES, UAS of optical link, E1/T1 tributary and GBE circuit. The PM records the statistic reports in every 15-min. and 24-hour interval within recent 7 days. The OptiQmax 4388 will pop out system alarm to all the managing interfaces while monitored PM value crosses the alarm threshold set by the user. In addition, to do the ease of remote deployment and troubleshooting, the PRBS function is built in for path testing.

The OptiQmax 4388 is ideal for the Telecom Operator for the application of co-existing traditional TDM and modern IP network, and especially for 2G/3G/LTE backhaul connectivity due to broadband IP traffic demand.

TDM & IP traffic aggregation in fiber optic:

For the ILEC and CLEC operator, TDM and IP traffic often co-exist at the remote access site, due to deliver both voice and data service together to the customer. The OptiQmax Fiber Optical Multiplexer (FOM) series of products transmit both the E1 tributary and Ethernet traffic over the optical fiber with extraordinary reliability.

In comparison to SDH telecom appliance, the OptiQmax FOM affords excellent performance/price ratio for the point to point, or point to multi point transmission over optical fiber. Therefore, the OptiQmax FOM is an ideal complementary solution to extend the E1 and Ethernet traffic in the access local loop segment dropping from the SDH backbone network.

In addition the OptiQmax FOM provides automatic self-healing on occurrence of fiber cut or transmission quality issue, ensuring the highest transmission availability.

2G/3G backhaul solution over Fiber or Microwave radio:

FiberLogic offers the complete backhaul solution between base station (BST) and base station controller (BSC), including fiber optical link and microwave radio link.

The OptiQmax FOM and OptiQwave microwave radio series of products transmit E1 and IP traffic over fiber optic and microwave radio individually. We offer one-stop shopping and provide turn key solution of backhaul transmission to the 2G/3G mobile operators.

Furthermore, the OptiQmax 4388 FOM presents the industrial leading edge 800 Mbps bandwidth over one fiber optic, which seamlessly integrates the voice and high speed data service such as HSDPA application. The outstanding bandwidth performance and carrier class reliability makes the OptiQmax4388 FOM be your ultimate choice to upgrade your mobile backhaul connection.
